Win The Pitch with Prezi

Over the next few days or weeks I’d like to write a few blog posts about some online apps that are uber useful in our beloved web process:

The Pitch -> The IA (after the requirements workshop of course) -> The Prototype (read: Wireframes) -> The Concept etc etc.. So here we go with part 1 of whatever, The Pitch:

Time to throw out Powerpoint and Indesign (or perhaps file them neatly in the bottom drawer), Prezi has recently come out of beta testing with some serious features.

So what’s this Prezi gizmo? It’s basically an online flash based presentation creator. Except instead of moving linearly through a set of uniform slides, you’re flying around on a massive canvas with the ability to zoom in and out effortlessly.

The effect is similar to the Leo Burnett website but with much more depth. The possibilities are endless with this application, you can convey ideas with so much more richness and impact.

I can’t really convey the range of nifty things you can achieve with this app so check out the demo below:
